The Student Seminar Series on Computer Systems and Engineering

The Student Seminar Series on Computer Systems and Engineering covers all aspects that enable the information revolution, ranging from the hardware that drives it to the applications that it makes possible. Some specific areas are VLSI, computer systems networking, computer architecture, computer aided design, etc. The speakers in the seminar will be mostly USC graduate students, although faculty members and outside guests will also speak. This seminar is scheduled to convene biweekly and is open to students, faculty, and research staff.

The purpose of the seminar series is three-fold:

  1. To provide a forum for graduate students to broaden their techical understanding by learning about other interesting research areas.
  2. To allow participants to improve their own research by receiving insightful comments and helpful suggestions by students and faculty, and
  3. To provide an interactive environment among USC researchers.
