The Superior Multiprocessor ARchiTecture (SMART) Interconnects Group is working towards
achieving high-performance communication in parallel computer systems. Research efforts
include the design and evaluation of high-performance interconnection networks and other
related architectural techniques for reducing communication latency in multiprocessors,
multicomputers, and networks of workstations.
