    We are delighted that you have taken interest in Computer Engineering here at USC.

Computer Engineering is a division within the Electrical Engineering department which boasts of renowned faculty, impacting research projects, and highly motivated students and research staff. Our degree programs provide students with an intensive background in the structure, function, design, and analysis of digital information processing systems as well as specialization in a variety of areas, including the following: computer architecture, computer networks, design automation and CAD, embedded and reconfigurable systems, parallel processing, pervasive/grid computing, security, wireless and sensor networking, and VLSI system design. Research projects span the gamut: from dynamic power management in VLSI systems to design and analysis of energy-efficient/robust mechanisms for querying, routing, and self-configuration in wireless sensor networks to modeling algorithms and architectures for reconfigurable computing, and more!
